Activities

You’ll never be bored on Vlieland! You can make free use of surf and skate equipment. Surf and yoga lessons can be booked separately. In addition, there’s plenty to do on Vlieland! Fishing, beach walks, beautiful bike rides, mini golf, live music, or even a game of volleyball.

Location

From our camp, you can easily walk over the dunes to the expansive beach and sea. You can seek tranquility in nature while also enjoying the camaraderie at the campsite and the charming village center.

Food and drinks

Every morning, you’ll wake up to an extensive breakfast buffet, and our chef will prepare a special dinner four evenings a week. Coffee and tea are complimentary, and our bar offers a selection of delicious drinks.

Nature

Vlieland boasts a diverse landscape. In addition to abundant forests and protected dune areas, the western half of the island features a large sandy plain known as the Northern Sahara. It’s a perfect place for walking or cycling. Don’t forget to try mudflat hiking!

Uiterst ontspannen verblijf gehad op Vlieland in Surfana. Vriendelijk personeel waarbij niets teveel is gevraagd, met een keurig verzorgd wisselend ontbijt iedere dag. Voor de surf liefhebber de plek om neer te strijken waar het strand werkelijk op steenworp afstand ligt.

  • Wat is de gemiddelde leeftijd van de deelnemers?

    Ons Surfweekend is gericht op volwassenen en de gemiddelde leeftijd ligt tussen de 25-40 jaar. Iedereen vanaf 21 jaar is welkom!

  • Kan ik alleen meegaan?

    Natuurlijk! Veel mensen komen alleen. Dat is juist de charme, nieuwe mensen leren kennen. Uiteraard kan je ook met z’n tweeën of meer komen.

  • Ik wil wel mee maar ik wil niet surfen, kan dat?

    Dat kan zeker! Surflessen zijn optioneel bij te boeken.

  • Hoe laat is de check-in?

    Als je vrijdag de veerboot van 19:00 neemt, zorgen wij dat we je ophalen bij aankomst op Vlieland. Als je al eerder op het eiland bent, kun je jezelf vrijdag na 17:00 melden bij ons Surf Hostel op Kampeerterrein Stortemelk.

  • Wat is handig om mee te nemen naar Vlieland?

    Nadat je hebt geboekt ontvang je een bevestigingsmail met daarin een paklijst en nog meer handige informatie.

  • Accepteert u creditcards

    Ja, op locatie kun je onder andere betalen met credit cards van Mastercard, Visa, Maestro en American Express.

  • Hoe ver is de surfschool lopen?

    De surfschool bevindt zich naast de accommodaties.

  • Is er een koelkast in Surfana Hostel op Vlieland?

    Ja, vergeet niet om je naam op je boodschappen te zetten.

  • Is er internet beschikbaar op de camping op Vlieland?

    Ja, er is overal op de camping draadloos open internet. Dit netwerk werkt echter niet altijd even goed.

  • Is het makkelijk bereikbaar met het openbaar vervoer?

    Jazeker! Plan je reis naar Harlingen Haven met 9292. Vanuit Harlingen Haven vertrekt de veerdienst naar Vlieland. Boek je tickets voor de vierdienst op tijd!

  • Kan ik één nacht boeken bij het Surfana camp op Vlieland?

    Jammer genoeg niet. Je hebt zeker 2 dagen nodig om te relaxen en te genieten van de prachtige omgeving. We willen dat je Vlieland helemaal zen verlaat. ;)

  • Kan ik met mijn gezin het Surfana camp op Vlieland bezoeken?

    Dat kan zeker, gezellig! We raden je dan wel aan om te verblijven in onze surf sheds en niet in onze dorm tenten.

  • Waar bevindt de dichtstbijzijnde supermarkt zich?

    Op slechts 200 meter loopafstand.

  • Wat is het adres van Surfana Vlieland?

  • Wat kunnen we nog meer bij het surfcamp doen?

    Het Surf Hostel bevindt zich op het terrein van Camping Stortemelk op Vlieland. Deze luxe en goed uitgeruste camping biedt een voetbal- en basketbalveld en heeft een eigen eetcafé met live muziek in de avond. Je kunt ook fietsen huren om het prachtige landschap van het eiland te verkennen. Daarnaast is het surfcamp voorzien van longboards, slacklines en indo-boards voor je balanstraining. ‘s Avonds maken we muziek of vertellen we verhalen van de dag. Ook gaan we naar het strand om de zonsondergang te bekijken en/of te genieten van een biertje.

  • Kan ik mijn auto parkeren bij het Surfana Vlieland?

    Vlieland is een autoluw eiland. Parkeren kan in Harlingen Haven waar de veerdienst naar Vlieland vertrekt. Bekijk hier de parkeermogelijkheden.
