Barefoot Running

This workshop will let you experience the feeling of complete freedom, a freedom I enjoy whilst running and happily share with you!

Evolution has designed our bodies for long distance running without the aid of any footwear. The feet are an essential part of this design. They enable the body to store and release energy, and when used correctly, can make the running movement almost effortless. Due to our sedentary lifestyles and choices of footwear we have lost the innate ability for effortless movement. Especially decreased is the functionality of the feet. In this one-hour workshop we will reawaken our natural movement patterns so that we can fully enjoy every sport we do. Join me going barefoot!

About Jesse:

As a PhD student in mathematics and computational neuroscience I study the phenomenon of effortless movement, formally called morphological computation.
