Welcome to Surfana Bloemendaal Surfcamp

Common Areas

This is the place where we have dinner and breakfast together, the place to connect and have a good time together. You can always find coffee, fresh fruit, water and tea at the big tent. Moreover you can find locker to charge your phone here.

The common areas are open from 8:00 to 00:00.

Please be aware that you have to turn off music at 22:00 and keep the noise to an absolute minimum. You can always go to the beach or to one of the beach bars if you want to hang out together at night. Take your friends along and enjoy!

Campsite Facilities
  • You can find the toilets and showers marked on the map.
  • There is a Sauna at ‘De Butterkop’ which is free of use from 10:00 to 22:00 with the code 2130.
  • A gym at the zen zone that is open from 9:00 to 21:30. You can enter the gym with the code 6780.
  • A Supermarket with a Laundromat
  • And a restaurant ‘Gestrand’

Food & Drinks

We love good food and delicious drinks and want to share this with you. It is part of our philosophy to act as sustainable as possible, this is why we try to reduce our food waste to a minimum and only serve vegetarian food.

  • Daily breakfast is served from 8:30-11:00. You can pick it up at the kitchen window in the morning.
  • Dinner is served at 19:00 in the common area.

You can always find coffee, tea, water and fresh fruits at the coffee bar and delicious drinks at our bar which is open from 18:00 to 22:00.

Quiet time

The campsite De Lakens has strict quiet times from 22:00 to 8:00. In this time all noise must be kept at an absolute minimum. If you have any complaints about noise, please let the night guards know at any time on +31 (0) 23 541 1570.

You can stop by at our reception to find out more about the surfcamp and activities offered during your stay. Our crew is happy to help you!

We offer several activities at the surfcamp. We are happy to share these experiences and activities with you!

Surf or SUP lessons

To book surf and SUP lessons head to the Surfana reception, ask our lovely crew or check out our Surf Schools Surfana Rapa Nui located at the beach bar Rapa Nui. Feel free yo give the surf school a call + 31 2320 51930

Yoga

We offer yoga lessons in the morning from 8:30 to 10:00. You can check the days we offer yoga lessons at the reception and. Make sure to book your yoga package before 19:00 on your check in day. 

Live music

Every Saturday there is live music at the beach camp around 20:00/20:30. Join us for a nice sunset session

Places to explore close by

In Zandvoort

Zandvoort city center is well worth a walk around and for shopping. You can go by foot, bike or take bus number 81 from bus stop ‘De Lakens’ to ‘station Zandvoort’. 

In Haarlem

The city of Haarlem is always worth a visit to stroll around the beautiful and green city and have some good drinks or snacks. You can bike to the city or take the bus 81 or 84. 

In Amsterdam  

  • Skate Cafe for coffee, snacks and nice atmosphere
  • Paradiso for a night out
  • Jordaan to explore the beautiful streets of Amsterdam

Wellness

Camping De Lakens provides several wellness services. Check it out here. 

Bike Rental 

Bike rentals are available at “Behind the Beach” bike shop located behind the supermarket Spar on the campsite.

National park

The national park right beside the campsite is definitely worth exploring! Check out recommended routes for a walk or bike ride here. Have fun exploring but make sure you check which areas you can or cannot go as this area is protected. Careful, there are high fines for not sticking to the rules!

Kitesurfing

You can book Kitesurf lessons at Mifune located at the beach right in front of the surf camp or give them a call +31 235 391277.

Skatepark

You can find a fun Skatepark in Zandvoort.

Surflessons are bookable at Surfana Reception, head down to the beach to visit the Surfana Rapa Nui reception and book it there or give us a call + 31 232051930.
