Behind the Amsterdam-based group JACHT is a duo, Hannah and Wiebe. Both are optimists who see beauty in almost everything — except the state of the world.

JACHT captures what it feels like to be young in an alienating political reality, wrapping that feeling in relatable themes such as longing, nostalgia, powerlessness, anger, and hope.

Their lyrics balance personal insight with sharp political commentary — sometimes dreamy and melancholic, other times raw and outspoken. Jacht released two EPs, participated in the Popronde and is currently working on their debut album. For fans of: Roosbeef, Interpol and Big Thief
