Surfana Festival, rooted in surf culture, thrives on community, nature, and connection. We are seeking a Senior Digital Marketeer & Content Creator to join our team and help amplify our presence online. If you are passionate about building campaigns, telling a story through content, and making data-driven decisions, we want to hear from you!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• • Campaign Strategy & Advertising: Develop, run, and optimize targeted campaigns on Meta, Google, TikTok, and Snapchat. Your focus is on boosting visibility, connecting with the audience, and selling out the festival.
  • Content Creation & Copywriting: Design engaging visuals using tools like Canva and Photoshop and write compelling copy for ads, newsletters, social media, and the website.
  • Social Media & Community Engagement: Shape and execute the content calendar, ensuring alignment with the music and workshop program, while keeping our community engaged.
  • Data Analysis & Optimization: Track and analyze performance using GA4, Looker Studio, and CMS to convert insights into actionable strategies.
  • Team Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with our creative team, external partners, and agencies to keep the brand consistent and on-track.

YOUR PROFILE

• • At least 1 year of experience in a senior marketing role, with a strategic mindset.
  • Proficiency in Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, and Snapchat Ads.
  • Experience in creating appealing visuals and writing high-converting copy.
  • A good understanding of SEO, content strategy, and basic CMS (WordPress).
  • You’re data-driven, proactive, and excited to take ownership.
  • Most importantly, you have a passion for what Surfana Festival stands for and want to share that feeling with others.
  • Available for 1-1.5 days per week (preferably Tuesdays & Thursdays) and fully available during festival dates (10-17 September 2025).

About Surfana Festival

For many,  Surfana Festival is the ultimate (Surf) festival with an international music line-up, 60+ different workshops, about 150 Volunteers and a very special location in a national park in the middle of the dunes, right next to the sea. Everything Surfana stands for: enjoying nature, a loving community, gaining new experiences, getting in touch with special people, comes together in the Surfana Festival weekend. The Festival manager is the glue that binds the festival production team and oversees the execution of all areas of the festival timeline and production. What does the  internship entail? 

As a festival management intern, you will work at Surfana Festival to support the festival manager and Festival director in overseeing the timely execution and  successful implementation of the festival. No 2 days are the same in this role as you will learn about all aspects of the festival production. You’ll be engaging with all festival producers as well as the closest partners. You’re part of making sure the festival runs smoothly and everybody has a very special weekend.  You will be managed by the Festival Manager and the Festival Director

• organized and preferably experienced with excel 
• social, hospitable, eye for those who need more attention

• has HBO thinking level and is studying in a relevant direction;
• can do an internship from April to September (continuous during the summer) 
• speaks English fluently (given the fairly international team composition)
