TRAVELLING TO SURFANA FESTIVAL

Surfana Festival is located at Camping de Lakens in the middle of the dunes, right next to the sea. Far enough away from any civilisation to feel like you’re totally in the wild. Situated in the midst of the Kennemerduinen National Park it’s also quite likely you’ll see a number of wild animals roaming around. During the day feel free to roam the dunes and beach but please remember to stick to the path and to leave nothing but footprints – bring all rubbish back (bonus points if it isn’t yours). GETTING TO THE FESTIVAL

By Public Transport

We strongly recommend using public transport to get to Surfana Festival as parking spaces are expensive. Additionally, travelling by public transport is easy and eco-friendly. There are buses running every 30 minutes from Zandvoort and Haarlem stations, located only a 15 minutes train ride from Amsterdam. 

By Train

If you are traveling from further away check the routes from Choo-Choo train to check the easiest route to travel by train from cities such as Paris and Berlin. Their prices are set to increase so book those tickets as soon as possible!

By Bike

For those residing in the Netherlands, embracing the Dutch spirit and cycling to the festival is an excellent option. You can easily pick up an OV-fiets at Haarlem or Zandvoort stations and cycle through the dunes!

By Car

If you prefer to travel by car (preferably electric ?) instead of public transport, we suggest arranging carpooling with friends or acquaintances. Another excellent option for transportation is car-sharing, utilising services such as Greenwheels or MyWheels.These platforms provide convenient and eco-friendly ways to share vehicles with others. Additionally, carpooling with friends and acquaintances is another great way to reduce the number of cars on the road and minimise carbon emissions.
