Say Haarvana and you’re talking surf vibes, vintage interiors, and living life exactly as it is. That’s the shared spirit of Djamiela and Lara—two creative souls who met in 2013 over a job interview and ended up building their own colourful salon in the heart of Haarlem. Filled with secondhand treasures and a laid-back energy, Haarvana is where surf culture meets hair artistry.

And now they’re taking that vibe on the road with the Hairvan—a beautiful pop-up salon on wheels. Cutting hair on the beach or in the middle of a festival field? Absolutely. Wherever life flows, Haarvana follows.

About the facilitators:
Lara is all about warm tones, soft babylights, and celebrating natural curls. You’ll find her behind the scissors or dancing her way through a festival. Djamiela is your go-to for cool tones, edgy colours and bold transformations—unless she’s just paddled out into the waves.

Polished perfection? No thanks. Haarvana stands for real, raw beauty—recycled dye bottles, eco taps, and all.
